Dear Shag Club Members: I would like to first thank all the members that attended the Great Membership Party and everyone that help Margaret and Karen put it all together. The turn out was fantastic, the food was delicious, the music wonderful but most of all the fellowship was outstanding. We have a strong club and it shows when we can come together and have fun. The Membership renewal at the membership party was 64 renewals and 9 new members. I have a hard act to follow (John Gilstrap). John & Janice has inspired this club in so many ways. To John I want to say thank you for serving as president once again. 2007-2009 Well this being my 4th time I must love this club and enjoy Shag. I can honestly say I do. Please get involved with the club planning. Sign -up to be on a committee and support the place we have to shag. It is very difficult to find a place that we can use free of charge. No place is going to be perfect. Where every we meet to socialize and dance it should be a fun time for all. We need your ideas to plan all of our activities. Thank you for being a Member but be an active Member. We have a lot of events coming up. So stay tuned. The coalition clubs are putting together another tremendous party at the beach in September. You won't want to miss this, Danville & Greater Triad Shag Clubs are in charge of coordinating the party this year. See you shaggn Sandra
